Volleyball Game Preview: Fletcher Senators vs. Baldwin Indians

Fletcher is a perfect 4-0 against Baldwin since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Senators will take on the Indians in a tournament on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Fletcher had won three straight games and Keely Pou did her part to make it four on Tuesday. The Senators blew past Paxon School For Advanced Studies 3-0 for which the team can thank Pou, who had 21 assists. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-9, 25-20.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Baldwin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against Stanton on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Indians not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 29th (when they won 3-0).

While Baldwin won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-15, 25-16.

Baldwin's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Fletcher, their victory bumped their record up to 21-2.

Fletcher beat Baldwin 2-0 in their previous meeting on Friday. Will the Senators repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
