Basketball Game Preview: St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings vs. Tattnall Square Academy Trojans

The St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings will square off against the Tattnall Square Academy Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. St. Anne-Pacelli will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

St. Anne-Pacelli is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They blew past Tallulah Falls 80-55. The Vikings' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Tattnall Square Academy hadn't done well against Stratford Academy recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Tattnall Square Academy skirted past Stratford Academy 66-64. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

St. Anne-Pacelli's win bumped their record up to 26-0. As for Tattnall Square Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 22-4.

St. Anne-Pacelli and Tattnall Square Academy were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in December of 2015, but St. Anne-Pacelli came up empty-handed after a 59-58 loss. Can St. Anne-Pacelli avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
