Basketball Game Preview: MacArthur Generals vs. Dekaney Wildcats + Official Tickets

MacArthur is 2-8 against Dekaney since December of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Generals will face off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

MacArthur fought the good fight in their overtime game against Westfield on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 68-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. That's two games in a row now that the Generals have lost by exactly four points.

Meanwhile, Dekaney waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 61-60 W against the Lions.

Dekaney's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for MacArthur, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.

MacArthur lost to Dekaney on the road by a decisive 65-49 margin in their previous matchup back in February of 2025. Can the Generals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
