Softball Recap: Wabash Victorious

While Wabash's victory against Marion wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Apaches sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Giants on Friday. The Apaches' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Wabash saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lataya Judy, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Another was Kaitlynn Honeycutt, who earned one RBI and two runs.

Wabash's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Marion, their record is now 2-4.

Wabash wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-0 loss against Mississinewa on the 21st. As for Marion, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-3 defeat against Peru on the 22nd.
