Softball Recap: Harrison Has No Trouble Against Tri-County

Harrison won the last time they faced Tri-County and things went their way on Friday too. The Raiders put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp 15-6 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

Harrison let Kamryn Popp and Ashley Dunk run wild. Popp went 3-for-4 with four RBI and two runs, while Dunk went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. Anna Hainje was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

They weren't the only one making solid contact: Harrison kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Harrison now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Tri-County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Harrison will host McCutcheon at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mavericks will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tri-County, they will face off against Covington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
