Biddeford put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Kennebunk Rams. With that win, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 7.2 runs per game.

Gavin Haggett made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Marcus Soucy was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dom Smith, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Biddeford always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Biddeford pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games.
