Football Recap: Manitou Springs Comes Up Short

Manitou Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 63-13 loss at the hands of the La Junta Tigers. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-7.

Despite the loss, Manitou Springs still got an impressive performance from Dillon Gates, who rushed for 33 yards and a pair of TDs.

Manitou Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for La Junta, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
