Football Recap: Manitou Springs Takes a Loss

Manitou Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by the La Junta Tigers and fell 63-13. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Manitou Springs' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for La Junta, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Manitou Springs will take on rival Lamar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, La Junta is set to face off against their familiar foe Banning Lewis Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
