Volleyball Recap: Barnesville Takes a Loss

Barnesville lost against Perham back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Barnesville sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-27, 18-16.

Barnesville has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Perham, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-6.

Coming up, Barnesville will challenge Pelican Rapids at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Perham, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Hillcrest Lutheran Academy on the 4th.
