Volleyball Game Preview: Lanphier Lions vs. Clinton Maroons + How To Watch

Lanphier is 0-4 against Clinton since October of 2017 but things could change on Wednesday. The Lions will face off against the Maroons at 7:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Lanphier didn't have quite enough to beat MacArthur and fell 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Lanphier sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 21-25, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Clinton beat Argenta-Oreana 2-0 on Monday.

Clinton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Argenta-Oreana between 20 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20.

Lanphier's defeat dropped their record down to 6-25. As for Clinton, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-19 record this season.

Lanphier came up short against Clinton when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
