After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tuscaloosa Home Educators, Ezekiel Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Evangel Christian Academy Lions as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

One reason for the win was Ezekiel Academy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18, 25-8.

Mackenzie McIlroy paced Ezekiel Academy's offense, picking up four kills. McIlroy got some help from Jillian Newell and her seven assists. Kiley Henderson controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Ezekiel Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Evangel Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Ezekiel Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Varsity Opponent on the 26th.
