Basketball Recap: Eastwood Find Success

Eastwood hadn't done well against Archbold recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Eastwood Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Archbold Blue Streaks, sneaking past 38-35. The 38-point effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Eastwood's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Archbold, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

When Eastwood and Archbold next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Eastwood will try to stop Bellevue's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Archbold will take on Pettisville and their seven-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
