Basketball Game Preview: Roy Royals vs. Northridge Knights

Roy hasn't had much luck against Northridge recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Roy Royals will welcome the Northridge Knights at 5:15 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Friday, Roy lost to Viewmont at home by a 56-37 margin. The Royals were down 50-24 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Jerzee Hart put forth a good effort for the losing side as she went 6 of 13 en route to 15 points and six boards.

Meanwhile, Northridge played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Clearfield, falling 61-37.

Roy's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Northridge, they dropped their record down to 7-10 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Roy beat Northridge 53-42 in their previous meeting on January 3rd. Will Roy repeat their success, or does Northridge have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
