Volleyball Recap: Petersburg Takes Down Ranked Glennallen

Petersburg faced Glennallen in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Panthers. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Petersburg now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Glennallen, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-7.

Petersburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Bristol Bay on the 10th. Glennallen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
