Baseball Recap: Beau Chene Comes Up Short

Beau Chene lost to Eunice back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Gators lost 16-2 to the Bobcats.

Tristan Mitchell and Braydon Marks did some serious damage despite the final result: Mitchell went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double, while Marks got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Beau Chene's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Eunice, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beau Chene will face off against Lutcher at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Eunice, they will host St. Martinville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
