Basketball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Jefferson challenged Cascade on Thursday. The Jefferson Lions were dealt a 61-33 loss at the hands of the Cascade Cougars. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Cascade, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

Jefferson won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against McMinnville at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Cascade, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Astoria at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
