It's playoff time, and Leesville had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the McDonogh 35 Roneagles a 20-0 shutout on Thursday. Considering the Wampus Cats have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Leesville's fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-14-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for McDonogh 35, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Leesville beat the Roneagles by a score of 13-0 on Friday.
