Reading had lost five games at home, but after bumping their record up to 4-10 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-11 victory over the Daniel Boone Blazers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Red KNights have posted since May 9, 2024.
Anferny Trinidad was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. Trinidad was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.
