Football Recap: Hemlock Comes Up Short

Hemlock had lost seven straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-6 to make it eight. They took a blow against the Michigan Lutheran Seminary Cardinals, falling 57-0. If the Huskies were looking for revenge after losing 40-0 to the Cardinals when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Michigan Lutheran Seminary, they now have a winning record of 4-3. Considering they have won four contests by more than 31 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

It was another big night for Andrew Miller, who rushed for 162 yards and a pair of scores. Those 162 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Brady Teske was another key player, rushing for 84 yards and two TDs.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hemlock will challenge Lakeview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Michigan Lutheran Seminary, they will take on Reese at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
