Basketball Recap: Moore Catholic Picks Up Eighth Straight Win on the Road

Moore Catholic had won seven straight road games dating back to last season and Brianna Caliri did her part to make it eight on Thursday. The Moore Catholic Mavericks blew past the St. Joseph Hill Academy Hilltoppers 66-44 thanks in part to Caliri, who posted 22 points and six rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

Moore Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for St. Joseph Hill Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moore Catholic will welcome Fontbonne Hall Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Joseph Hill Academy, they will take on North Rockland at 12:45 p.m. on January 18th.
