Basketball Recap: Powder Valley Takes a Loss

Powder Valley and Echo squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Powder Valley had to settle for second. They fell 48-40 to the Echo Cougars. The Badgers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Powder Valley's loss dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Echo, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-7.

Looking ahead, Powder Valley will square off against Mapleton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Echo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
