Basketball Recap: Bishop Moore Takes a Loss

Bishop Moore lost against Montverde Academy Gold back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bishop Moore Hornets fell 38-31 to the Montverde Academy Gold Eagles. The matchup marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Bishop Moore still got an impressive performance from Tre Mathis, who posted nine points.

Bishop Moore's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Montverde Academy Gold, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 9-4.

Bishop Moore will challenge Foundation Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Foundation Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 12 games.
