West Forsyth is 8-1-1 against East Forsyth since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Titans will look to defend their home pitch against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

While West Forsyth's win against Asheboro wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Titans' defense stepped up to hand the Blue Comets a 1-0 shutout last Thursday. Give West Forsyth's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Panayoti Demopoulos, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Wednesday East Forsyth sidestepped Oak Grove for a 3-2 victory. Brandon Salinas-Quiterio had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble East Forsyth got from the refs.

West Forsyth has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those five contests. As for East Forsyth, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6-1.

Everything went West Forsyth's way against East Forsyth in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as West Forsyth made off with a 7-2 win. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
