Basketball Recap: Salado Skates Past Taylor with Ease

Salado entered their tilt with Taylor on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Taylor Ducks 55-28. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Ducks back in January, they had to take a 47-40 defeat.

Despite the loss, Taylor still got an impressive performance from Sophia Fisher, who posted 12 points and four steals. What's more, Fisher also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in November of 2024.

Salado's win bumped their record up to 19-14. As for Taylor, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-19 record this season.

Salado will venture away from home to challenge Lorena at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Salado knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Lorena likes a good challenge. Taylor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
