Basketball Recap: Eastmark Takes a Loss

Eastmark and Saguaro squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Eastmark had to settle for second. They took a hard 73-58 fall against the Saguaro Sabercats. The Firebirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Saguaro found their leader in freshman Nas Hailey, who almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine boards. That's the most rebounds Hailey has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Pierce Harrington, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 16 points and five assists.

Eastmark's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Saguaro, their win bumped their record up to 17-9.

As of now, neither Eastmark nor Saguaro have any future games scheduled.
