Volleyball Recap: Jesuit Wins Going Away Against Rio Americano

Jesuit made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Rio Americano, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Marauders put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The Marauders were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Raiders, so the Marauders were just returning the favor.

Jesuit was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-21, 25-21.

Jesuit has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-11 record this season. As for Rio Americano, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-15.

Coincidentally, Jesuit and Rio Americano will both be playing Inderkum the next time they take the court. The Marauders will host the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Raiders will host them at 6:30 p.m. on the 21st.
