Redington scored the most runs they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Grace Christian Grizzlies by a score of 13-12. The Huskies' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

JuJu Atencio was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Atencio was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those hits marked the first that he has got this season.

In other batting news, Ikaia Flores made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Elias Buzzard, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Redington's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-4. As for Grace Christian, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
