Basketball Game Preview: Valwood Valiants vs. Terrell Academy Eagles

The Valwood Valiants will challenge the Terrell Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Valwood has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

On Thursday, Valwood was able to grind out a solid victory over Echols County, taking the game 64-53.

Meanwhile, Terrell Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 47-43 to Southland Academy. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Terrell Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Valwood, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.

Valwood was able to grind out a solid victory over Terrell Academy in their previous meeting on Tuesday, winning 60-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Valwood since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
