Ozona is 7-1 against Sterling City since November of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Ozona Lions will head out to face off against the Sterling City Eagles at 6:15 p.m. Ozona is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.

Last Tuesday, Ozona didn't have too much trouble with Forsan as they won 48-31.

Meanwhile, Sterling City hadn't done well against Forsan recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Sterling City sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 30-28 victory over Forsan. 30 seems to be a good number for the Eagles as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

The victory made it two in a row for Sterling City and bumps their season record up to 13-8. As for Ozona, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-6.

Everything went Ozona's way against Sterling City in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as Ozona made off with a 40-19 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ozona since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
