Soccer Recap: Pine Crest Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Pine Crest Panthers didn't have quite enough to beat the Saint Andrew's Scots and fell 2-1.

Pine Crest's goal came courtesy of Dylan Chavez, who's now up to seven this season.

Pine Crest's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-2. As for Saint Andrew's, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.

Pine Crest has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 win against South Florida HEAT on the 10th. As for Saint Andrew's, they will challenge St. John Paul II Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Saint Andrew's is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.
