Softball Game Preview: Greenville Tigers vs. Florala Wildcats

The Greenville Tigers will head out to square off against the Florala Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenville will be strutting in after a victory while Florala will be coming in after a defeat.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Thursday. Greenville walked away with a 7-3 win over McKenzie. The victory continues a trend for Greenville in their matchups with McKenzie: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Florala fell victim to Kinston and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 16-0 to the Bulldogs. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Florala saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kiley Caine, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Florala's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Greenville, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

Greenville couldn't quite finish off Florala in their previous matchup back in March and fell 17-15. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
