Volleyball Recap: Big Valley Christian's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Big Valley Christian had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Creative Connections Arts Academy Dragons as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Big Valley Christian took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-9, 25-11.

Luke Dorn paced Big Valley Christian's offense, picking up nine kills. Dorn got some help from Gage Toledo and his 25 assists. Brady Filbrun controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Big Valley Christian pushed their record up to 28-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Creative Connections Arts Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Big Valley Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Sacramento Waldorf on the 2nd. Creative Connections Arts Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
