While Atwater's victory against Gregori wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Jaguars on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won eight matchups in a row.

Julian Madriz was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double. Landon Perez was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs.

Atwater pushed their record up to 17-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Gregori, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-7.

Looking ahead, Atwater will take on Enochs in a tournament on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Falcons 3.5, the Eagles 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Gregori, they will be taking part in a tournament against St. Joseph Notre Dame at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
