Class of 2020 Sac-Joaquin Section softball players off to a hot start

Here's hoping these players get back on the field soon.

With the current Sac-Joaquin Section high school softball season on hold, we wanted to recognize some of the Class of 2020 players who were off to a hot start. We hope that we get to see all the seniors play at least one more game and possibly more.

It’s unfortunate that several teams were only into game two or three, or even fewer, when the season was stopped. Because of that they did not accumulate enough stats to make the lists below. For example, Sheldon's (Sacramento) Kiannah Pierce in two games had seven hits in eight at bats. She was batting .875, but she was left off the leaderboard because she had yet to have 12 plate appearances.
