If Taylor County wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Chiles, they should've done a better job of containing Gabe Parks. The Timberwolves walked away with a 71-58 win over the Bulldogs on Saturday thanks in part to Parks, who shot 55% from beyond the arc en route to 33 points and five steals. His big performance that evening made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points.

Despite the loss, Taylor County saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jacoreyon Alexander went 6-for-9 on his way to 17 points and six boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Alexander has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Christian Goodman, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 11 points.

Chiles' record now sits at 8-9. As for Taylor County, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Chiles wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-42 victory against North Florida Christian on the 13th. As for Taylor County, they have also already played their next contest, a 64-54 defeat against Hamilton County on the 13th.
