Soccer Recap: Hillcrest Comes Up Short

Hillcrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Park City Miners. That's two games in a row now that Hillcrest have lost by just one goal.

They hit Park City with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lucas Felix, William Rogers, and Bridger Healy.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Park City, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Hillcrest has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Cottonwood on the 4th. As for Park City, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Murray on the 8th.
