Preview: North Central vs. Pullman
If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Pullman. On Friday they take on North Central at 5:00 PM. Pullman will be strutting in after a win while North Central will be stumbling in from a loss.
Pullman took care of business in their home opener. They strolled past Lakeside with points to spare last Friday, taking the contest 41-23. No one had a better game by the numbers than junior Isaiah Strong, who brought his A game into the match. He caught passes for 254 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, North Central couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-49 to West Valley.
North Central's defeat took them down to 0-1 while Pullman's victory pulled them up to 1-0. The Pullman defense had it out for the quarterback last game and accrued 6 sacks, so hopefully North Central's offensive line has put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the matchup.
