Softball Recap: Triumph Charter's Run of 17 Straight Victories Now Over

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Triumph Charter can now relate to. They came up short against the King/Drew Golden Eagles on Wednesday, falling 11-1. The Jaguars were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the ten contests prior), but the Golden Eagles' pitchers proved too tough.

The loss snapped Triumph Charter's winning streak at 17 games and leaves them with a 18-2 record. As for King/Drew, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-14 record this season.

Triumph Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for King/Drew, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 19-1 victory against Wilson on the 23rd.
