Basketball Recap: Five Straight Home Victories for Kenesaw

There's no place like home for Kenesaw, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Shelton Bulldogs on Friday, sneaking past 56-54. For the Blue Devils, this counts as revenge for the 80-33 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Kenesaw's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jravin Suck, who posted 11 points. Adam Denkert was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Kenesaw pushed their record up to 2-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Shelton, they moved to 3-1 with that loss, which also ended their 16-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kenesaw will take on Doniphan-Trumbull in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shelton, they and Wilcox-Hildreth will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
