Bledsoe County gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the York Institute Dragons. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won four in a row.

York Institute's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bledsoe County is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will square off against McMinn Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for York Institute, they will challenge Carter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
