Softball Recap: Grand Saline's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Grand Saline fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Edgewood on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty 23 runs in the game before, the Indians couldn't push the score so high this time.

Grand Saline's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-7-1. As for Edgewood, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-8-1.

Coming up, Grand Saline will head out to square off against Eustace at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Edgewood, they will host Winona at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
