Basketball Game Preview: John Paul II Centurions vs. West Oso Bears

John Paul II hasn't had much luck against West Oso recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Centurions will welcome the Bears at 12:30 p.m. John Paul II has given up an average of 59.3 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

John Paul II came up short against Annapolis Christian Academy on Tuesday, falling 64-41.

Meanwhile, West Oso suffered their closest defeat since January 28th on Monday. They fell just short of Santa Gertrudis Academy by a score of 59-57.

West Oso's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for John Paul II, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

John Paul II took a serious blow against West Oso in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, falling 73-24. Can the Centurions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
