Soccer Recap: Washington Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Washington was the 1-0 winner over Wyandotte when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs on Tuesday. Washington fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Wyandotte since Tuesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Washington and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Wyandotte, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Washington is set to challenge their familiar foe Atchison on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wyandotte will face off against rival Sumner Academy on Thursday.
