Volleyball Game Preview: Metro-East Lutheran Knights vs. Bunker Hill Minutemen

Metro-East Lutheran is on a 13-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Bunker Hill a four-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Metro-East Lutheran Knights will look to defend their home court against the Bunker Hill Minutemen at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Two weeks ago, Metro-East Lutheran came up short against Maryville Christian and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Bunker Hill also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Granite City by a score of 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21.

Metro-East Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Bunker Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Metro-East Lutheran couldn't quite get it done against Bunker Hill when the teams last played back in May of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
