The Foothill Falcons will take on the Arbor View Aggies at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Foothill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Foothill is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Virgin Valley just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. They and the Bulldogs finished up their contest with an 8-8 draw.

Meanwhile, Arbor View faced Spring Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Aggies came out on top against the Grizzlies by a score of 7-4. The Aggies haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Ted Tsouras looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, J Alex Scaggs was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Blais, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

Arbor View pushed their record up to 11-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. Foothill's draw makes their record 16-6-1 this season.
