Baseball Game Preview: Christchurch School Seahorses vs. Isle of Wight Academy Chargers

Christchurch School hasn't had much luck against Isle of Wight Academy recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Seahorses will welcome the Chargers at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Christchurch School is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They lost 12-2 to St. Christopher's.

Christchurch School saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trey Fitchett, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 14 runs the game before, Isle of Wight Academy was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They came up short against Walsingham Academy, falling 11-1.

Isle of Wight Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Christchurch School, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.

Christchurch School couldn't quite finish off Isle of Wight Academy in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 and fell 2-0. Can the Seahorses avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
