Basketball Recap: Edgewood Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lone Oak last Tuesday, Edgewood came back down to earth. The Edgewood Bulldogs took a hard 55-39 fall against the Life Waxahachie Mustangs on Thursday.

Edgewood's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Life Waxahachie, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Lone Oak the next time they take the court. Edgewood will head out to face Lone Oak at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Life Waxahachie will head out to face them at 11:50 a.m. on Friday.
