Football Recap: Village Christian Skates Past North Hollywood with Ease

The Village Christian Crusaders were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past the North Hollywood Huskies 43-13. Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 315th, while the Huskies are ranked 867th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Nathan Remeny was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 194 yards and three touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing yards (25).

Although North Hollywood took the loss, they still got scores from MAX BATES and CHRIS RENTERIA.

Village Christian has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 33 points thus far. As for North Hollywood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Village Christian will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Schurr at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Hollywood, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
