Preview: Cumberland County vs. Livingston Academy
On Friday, Livingston Academy are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Cumberland County at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
It was all tied up at halftime, but Livingston Academy wasn't quite Cookeville's equal in the second half when they met last Friday. Livingston Academy found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 7-28 punch to the gut against Cookeville.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-42, which was the final score in Cumberland County's tilt against Powell last week. Cumberland County were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-35.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
