Basketball Recap: Alleghany Takes a Loss

Alleghany was the 57-52 winner over Elkin when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Alleghany Trojans fell 64-55 to the Elkin Buckin' Elks on Friday.

Alleghany's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Elkin, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.

Looking ahead, Alleghany will welcome Starmount at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Alleghany's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. As for Elkin, they will head out to take on Mount Airy at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
